March 14th - Marjorie Augustine Rivera our guest speaker It's been more than a year since we've had the pleasure of having Marjorie Rivera offer the lesson for our service. Marjorie has a fascinating life story to tell. Born in Panama, Marjorie is a Cuna Indian. The Cunas are the Indigenous peoples of the San Blas Islands off the Pacific Coast of Panama. Marjorie was born into a family of healers, shaman and medicine women. Her life as a Latin American woman was infused with a strong belief and respect for the Spirit World. She began to see and communicate with spirits when she was 5. March 28th - Palm Sunday = MEDIUM SUNDAY! Rebecca Bloom - Gifted Tarot Reader - Our Guest Speaker Due to Easter being April 4th, we are pushing our Medium Sunday event back a week to March 28th, Palm Sunday. Who better to transition us from the cold, gray, wintry days to a brighter spring than our energetic and positive friend Rebecca?! Becky is an experienced Tarot reader. In addition to her private readings and doing parties, she gives readings at the Gypsy Café on Pittsburgh's South Side during most Friday and Sunday dinner hours. We Offer READINGS after church on the FIRST SUNDAY of every month for a $10 donation! |

Following the service on the first Sunday of every month, our member and guest mediums will give readings in the sanctuary, and a delicious hot lunch (suggested donation, $5) will be served upstairs. Readings are scheduled on a first-come, first-choice basis for $10 for a 15-minute reading. Some mediums have agreed to schedule up to two 30-minute readings for a donation of $20. If you are interested in having a reading, you should obtain a number when you arrive from our member attending the door. After the service, you will be able to schedule your reading. The scheduling and lunch will be upstairs, the readings will be in the sanctuary. |

| DIRECTIONS: Until we complete our construction of a new website (that will include more elaborate instructions on 'best routes'), we suggest you use Google Maps (www.googlemaps.com) or Mapquest (www.mapquest.com) to navigate to 809 Locust Street, 15132. For landmarks, note that the Daily News is at the intersection of Walnut Street and Lysle Blvd. There is a BP station on this corner as well. Proceed down Walnut Street (PA 148) to the next traffic light at 9th Ave., in front of the Post Office and the Salvation Army. Turn left up the hill along the Salvation Army building to Locust Street - the street sign is difficult to notice. Locust Street is the narrow street on the uphill side of the (orange brick) Lutheran Church on the left. When you make the left turn onto Locust Street, our church is just ahead on the right, with a large blue sign on the side. We look forward to having you join us! | ||
